Mabry Mill was built by Ed Mabry in the early 20th century so he could grind cornmeal, saw logs into boards, and power a woodworking shop. After Mabry’s death in 1936, the mill fell into disrepair until it was restored in 1942 under the direction of Parkway designer Stan Abbott. In the years since, Mabry Mill has become a beloved landmark along the Blue Ridge Parkway near milemarker 176. »More Details
