This tee shirt features the year construction began on the Parkway at Pack Murphy's farm near Cumberland Knob just south of the Virginia/North Carolina state line. Starting on September 11, 1935, the parkway was built in sections. Then, the final section (Linn Cove Viaduct near Linville, NC) was completed 52 years later in the fall of 1987.
