 Joy Ride
The Blue Ridge Parkway was the longest federally planned roadway in the United Sates when construction began in 1935. It connects two national parks - Shenandoah and Great Smoky Mountains - via a national rural parkway, the first such road to be conceived, designed and constructed as a leisure driving experience.
