About the author:
Allen de Hart has been hiking, designing, and writing about trails for more than six decades. He has authored eight guidebooks for the Virginias, Carolinas, Florida, and Georgia. He lives adjacent to the De Hart Botanical Gardens in Louisburg, North Carolina.
